Results, scores and cut-offs

Access CLAT results only through the official candidate or results portal. Keep your application credentials secure and save a copy of the scorecard for subsequent admission steps.

Qualifying is not the same as getting a seat

A qualifying score may allow you to participate in a later process. Admission cut-offs can vary by institution, programme, category, quota and counselling round. Do not compare unlike categories or rely on a previous year’s closing score as a guarantee.

What to do after the result

  • Check personal details and score information on the result.
  • Review official instructions for score challenges or discrepancies, if available.
  • Identify counselling and institutional application deadlines.
  • Prepare a preference list based on programme fit and affordability.

Degree Mantra does not publish invented live cut-offs or admission probabilities. Use official allocation data for the relevant year and category.
