Before you apply
Create a folder with Class 10 and 12 marksheets, graduation records if applicable, identity documents and a recent photograph. Use the exact name and date of birth that appear on official records. Keep clear scans and check each portal’s file-size and format limits.
Category and eligibility documents
If claiming a reservation, disability or income-based benefit, check the certificate format, issuing authority and validity date in the current prospectus. Do not assume a certificate accepted in one counselling process will be accepted in another.
Track every application
Record the institution, programme, application ID, payment acknowledgement and deadline in one tracker. Save a copy of the submitted form. Review correction windows and keep your own access to the registered email and mobile number.
Before paying the admission fee
Read the refund policy, verify the institution’s payment instructions and obtain an official fee breakdown. Check tuition, exam fees, deposits, hostel costs and any compulsory charges. Retain receipts and the admission letter.
