How to prepare for CLAT

Read passages with a timer, identify the rule supplied in legal questions and apply it without adding outside assumptions. Summarise one current-affairs topic each day.

A practical 12-week structure

StageFocusWeekly output
Weeks 1–3Diagnose gaps and rebuild fundamentalsA syllabus checklist and error log
Weeks 4–6Topic practice and spaced revisionReviewed timed sets for each area
Weeks 7–9Mixed practice and full mocksA tested attempt strategy
Weeks 10–12Revision and exam routineConcise notes and document readiness

Review every practice session

Classify mistakes into missing knowledge, misreading, weak application and avoidable calculation errors. Write the correct reasoning in your own words, then solve a similar question later without looking at the solution.

Make the plan sustainable

Use study blocks that fit your actual school, college or work schedule. Include breaks and a weekly catch-up session. Increase the quality of review before increasing the number of tests.
