Understand the paper pattern
Before starting mock tests, confirm duration, section order, permitted navigation, question types and negative marking from the current bulletin. Use the same conditions when taking a full mock.
Track progress meaningfully
Mark a topic complete only when you can answer unfamiliar questions independently. Keep separate columns for concept revision, untimed practice, timed accuracy and the date for your next review.
