Who can apply for JEE Advanced?
Eligibility depends on JEE Main performance, attempt limits, Class 12 year and other conditions in the current brochure. Qualifying JEE Main alone does not confirm eligibility.
Check these conditions before registering
- Qualifying education: degree or school qualification, accepted board or institution and required subjects.
- Academic result: minimum marks, aggregation method and category concessions.
- Year and attempts: passing-year, age or attempt restrictions where applicable.
- Final-year status: deadlines for furnishing results and certificates.
- Programme rules: the admission criteria of each institution you plan to apply to.
Exam eligibility and admission eligibility
Permission to take a test does not guarantee that you meet every participating programme’s conditions. Read the examination bulletin and the institution’s current prospectus together. If a qualification is unusual or obtained outside the usual route, request written clarification from the official authority.
